Evans Purple Pear came out of a row of Cherokee Purple about 5 or 6 years ago. A case of CP had a small pile of them in the coroner of the box. My son Evan kept eating them while at a market. The next day I told him to walk the rows and find the plant that produced his new favorite tomato.
It has been very close to 100% stable since first planting it. 1-1 1/2 inch pear shape fruit, purple color, Potato Leaf, sweet and rich flavor. Healthy producer. |
