I'm where Whwoz was in December
We saw Whwoz's asiatic lilies in photos he took in December of last year. Mine are just starting to bloom...I planted 4 pots. Bulbs came from Lowe's.

Dahlias
Walking around Launceston today, came across a public display garden of Dahlias. No labels unfortunately

Finally! The first "big" bulbs flower. Nothing spectacular yet but they bring some colour to the garden.

Some more of the Dahlias, went back to City Park in Launceston after hearing that they have a troup of Japanese Macaques there. We were to late for them, probably see them Friday, but shot a few more of the flowers and may have worked out a way to get variety names.

Bulbs here are up like they are for DapsSeeds. Tulips are just starting. I potted up two dahlias I bought because I don't know where there's room for them! It is easy to find room when at the store but when actually trying to find a good spot in the yard? Nope, not yet. If it looks like another droughty year they may stay in large pots.

More Asiatic lilies
These are in pots. I had to stake a couple of the stalks.

I love lillies but stopped bulbs because they get eaten by lily leaf beatles before they can flower. Yours are beautiful!

No idea of the name. They were in a bag of mixed colors I picked up at a big-box store. The dark one is stunning, isn't it?
