Good stuff my friend. It looks like that retirement dream home has been fulfilled. But there is something missing, no containers. OK, I guess we will have to start calling you "Dirt Farmer Ted". Ami

Your place is beautiful. There is life after retirement, I hope to be able to find out how it feels in about 4 years.

hope you have a great year

I'm 30 miles north of Knoxville near the Kentucky border. Just east of me is a place called "Do Help Me Holler". (I'm not kidding)

And this pix is just for Ami.

Ted,

You have a great looking garden! It makes me miss my Wisconsin garden, since now I am limited to containers for my tomatoes and peppers.

Your garden reminded me of something I do not have to worry about anymore. Are there any deer roaming on those hills? Right now you have nice open buffee set for them.

Sari, I have squirrels, chipmunks, groundhogs, rabbits, vultures, hawks, eagles, crows, dogs, cats, and a host of insects that want to devour the plants and sometimes me, but I haven't seen any deer around here. I have Bob-White quail, muskrats and snakes down by the creek; frogs, ducks, and numerous birds by the pond, but still not the first deer --- YET!!.

Seriously, I think there are too many free roaming large dogs here. But, with my usual luck, I will get up one morning to see my tomato patch freshly mown down by those antlered devils.

Are you taking orders for Volcanic dust????
