Default Seed bleg: Houston Community College Horticulture Club

The Short Version: I am blegging seeds for the Houston Community College Horticulture Club (the one out in Katy off I-10@Fry). They will be starting them in January in their greenhouse, and offering them to sale to the general public in March, to help support their club. The club is run by students getting their horticulture certificates --our future vegetable experts!

If you are interested in donating seed --even a small ten-pack helps!-- please let me know via private message. I am hoping to get their faculty advisor all of the seeds by December 20.

Much thanks.

--and remember, I'm also a HCC faculty member (not in Katy), so indirectly you're helping Lovable Friendly Mojo in his evals.

Mojo - are you looking for just tomato seed donations or other veggies as well?

Primarily looking for 'mater seeds, since those plants will sell well. But they won't turn down other things if offered. We are Zone 9 (Houston), if that helps.

Huge and gigantic thanks to everyone who has responded! Please step forward and take a bow, you have earned it.

Heh: the HCC Horticulture Club may well end up the best place to buy seedlings in March.

And I think we're okay for now. :-D
