Default Processed a few Big Ones Yesterday.

These all went thru the seed saving processes and, after a couple of sandwiches, on to the 'Juice" process yesterday. Yeah, I know, why waste a large one on juice when there are sandwiches to cover?? The answer is that there are only so many sandwiches one can eat and, I'm really trying to lose a few pounds.

Anyhow, the fridge is full of sandwich-sized toms and I DOOOO like my juice in the winter. Enjoy the eye-candy.

BTW, that scale is metric.

Beautiful tomatoes Ted! I bet they were so tasty... tomato juice from home-grown tomatoes sounds absolutely delicious!

Tracy, I put them in the fridge because both the DW and I like them cold in salads and such. I also like them cold on sandwiches most of the time. I can eat tomatoes by the bushel, but the rest of the family does not share my love and only eats them occasionately. Every now and then, I replace those with newly harvested ones and send the old ones to the juice process.

Those tomatoes look like they were well cared for! Very nice!

But I do think the Old Bulgarian could be a potential candidate in the Ugly Tomato Contest, depending on what angle you shoot it at!

ginger,

The tomatoes are 700 grams =/- or over one and a half pounds. Still large tomatoes.
