Wow....love the fabulous range of colours. How do I go about growing these? I admit I know next to nothing about growing potatoes other than burying some eyes or potatoes with eyes in the ground and possibly getting something later. Now you've really peaked my interest. Rut roh....I feel another possible obsession coming on....sighhhhhhhhh.

Au Sable variety of potato does not derive from Huagalina...but it goes back about six generations to a similar subspecies of potato called Renacimiento with a similar skin.

True Seed TPS is the best way to access these colors...tubers maybe...but I would have to be more organized then I am now to offer tubers.

Very pretty...so when can a person get seeds of the bottom 2? and any more details about size of potatoes and maturation times?

I don't know, but check often on New World Seeds and Tubers.

I have not dug all of my Huagalina variety potatoes yet, nor have I collected all the berries from it either.

I will be listing the TPS of it again ....perhaps mixing new seed with older seed to allow for variable germination and natural hybridization options.

HUAGALINA is like many of the good late blight resistant lines: rather late in maturity and it is rated by the CIP in Peru as moderately resistant to LB. It is especially res to tuber blight.

They are test marketing mashed potatoes in a foil pack made with Huagalina potatoes down in Peru. It is one tasty potato for that purpose

Here is picture of some seedlings grown from Huagalina TPS as per to one of my customers...
