Happy Jack
Our new favorite tomato -My son grew Happy Jack from Gleckers this year. It is a pink heart, most weighed about 10 to 12 ounces. Wonderful flavor. My husband liked it so much that he has requested that this be the only tomato that we grow from now on. Grow only one variety of tomato? Is that possible?

Happy Jack is a big vine, and is producing well. This has not been a very good gardening year for me- I started my seeds late, used a different seed starting mix with poor results, all my plants got root-bound because I couldn't plant them on time, and then I neglected them because I went back to work. In spite of all that, Happy Jack gave us delicious tomatoes. If you do plant it, I'd love to see pictures of a well cared for plant.

Oh boy! He sounds like a good one! And certainly he shouldn't be braving the garden by himself. Lol perhaps Big Cheef and Paul Robeson will keep him company ;-)
I hope to do a better job taking pictures next year. |

Love Happy Jack - does well every year, regardless of the conditions.
