I would think the mold would not be much of an issue. But I am not mixing them into compost. I collect my grounds in a bag, they do get moldy, and spread them in the beds around the house, primarily as an ant deterrent. Once I started doing it, I stopped getting ants inside.
Never noticed the mold living on very long, but it is exposed to the weather.

I mixed my coffee with soil and shrimp shells.
What a great combination.
My tomatoes loved it.

C- what do you do, specifically, with the TJ bags? I have a huge pile of those building up, and I'm a huge fan of the wormers.

I shred them and throw them in the compost pile or you can mulch with it.
I've read several articles saying the material acts as bedding for them. So they end up breaking it down quickly.
