Favorite Hoophouse Films?

I'm covering around 70 feet of Hoophouse, 8 1/2 feet tall by 10 feet wide.

What are ya'lls favorites for hoophouses growing tomatoes and peppers?

Favorite films and favorite permeables?

I have had sunmaster film from Farmtek on one building. I just bought Warp's Flex-o-Glass for my next two greenhouses. Shipping costs are my largest concern. I got a deal on truck shipping the Warp's from Hummert if I bought enough of it.

We use Klerks. Part of the reason is because that is what our local supplier has and we can buy exactly what we need and not a whole roll.

Shipping could get more expensive than the film itself, so if you can find it locally it would be the best.

Our favorite is a 4 mil anti-fog plastic film, 6 mil is even better, but more expensive. Many vendors have it.

Great advice on the anti-fog film if you are doing a two layer inflated house. The bottom or inside layer is anti- condensate and keeps from forming droplets that rain on you and your pllants in cold weather. It is a bit more expensive, but well worth the investment if you are selling or growing to sell from a greenhouse. We use 6mil 4year plastic on all of our houses and every year we have one house to recover. we do not use the anti condensate on the high tunnels, though.
