Default I lost my marbles...

...almost fifty years ago. While transplanting tomatoes and beans a couple of days ago, I dug a few of them up.

I've found marbles in my garden too, but they must of been there way before I owned the property. I'd rather find gold coins, but no such luck.

I found a tree once. Four inches down, sawed in big chunks, mixed with landscaping granite chips. After at least 3 years in the ground it was still almost completely intact. At the time, I dug it all out and then double dug under the bed.

If I found something like that today, I would leave it in place and build over it -- assuming I even bothered to dig deep enough to find in the first place!

I found some Civil War minies dropped in 1864 by Yankees who were burning Atlanta.

My moonies dropped in about 1964 by this Yankee who wasn't burning anything (that wouldn't fit under a magnifying lens on a sunny day).
