Default Horticubes®

How many here have ever used Horticubes® (not rock wool cubes) for seed starting? What was/is your opinion of them?

I used some last year to sow grafting rootstock and the left over ones for the same purpose this year. Germination has been only poor to spotty this year, and the rootstock (Maxifort) that did germinate hasn't exactly prospered. Right now, I don't plan to use them again but am interested to hear others' take on them.
