Good and bad

I have 4 raised bedsd with tomatoes in 3 of them. Basically all have a mix of different composts. peat moss, vermiculite, and partially composted leaves. Many of the tomatoes are thriving but several in a couple of the beds are looking spindly, with a decent amount of fruit, decent height, but lacking lush leaf growth. The leaves also appear a little off color. Watering is not a problem, we just had 5 inches and I have a drip system. Also every couple of weeks I use Texas Tomato Food. Is this a soil ph problem or something else?[IMG][IMG]IMG_1658.JPG[/IMG][/IMG]Bad

what varieties are you growing? some just look like that normally, many oxhearts for example look spindly and weak compared to beefsteak plants but pump out great big beautiful tomatoes.

Being new to tomato gardening I am growing hybrids- creole, Florida 91, sweet 100's cherry tomatoes. ( Next year hybrids here we come) There seems to be no pattern as regards varieties, but certain areas of certain beds seem to make a difference. All get plenty of sun here in south LA and all were started by seed by me at the same time.
