A thread for posting pics of leaves and other.

The pic isn't very good, but these tomato plants fit under the hanging light last night. This morning, I inspected the growth, moved the tray some, and turned on the lights. The plant in the pic grew 1.75" overnight in the dark. Sometimes, I think they grow more at night. ? This is all new and exciting to me and my wife. More pics on the way today.

I found this yesterday while repotting Japanese Black Trifile. I know leaves can look different when the plant is young, but I'm thinking one is Potato Leaf and the other is Regular Leaf. The seed pack I planted seeds from has a PC printed label with a picture of the tomato. Has PL in the description.

I never open more than one seed pack at a time. I guess I need to wait until they both start producing fruit to know if there is any difference other than PL and RL. It's exciting. I wonder if they will taste different?

I found the two I was hoping you would grow.
Pasilla Bajio and Guajillo.
With these two you can make some of the best mexican food you have ever had.

I buy them dried and make chili powder for my chilli.

I forgot about the Shi-Shi-To being spelled correctly on my list and noticed Pasilla Bajio is on there twice. Oops

The near zero Scoville types are for the majority of those people I grow for. I personally think of peppers in three groups.

No heat: Pick it, eat it, no tears or dancing around, no need for milk or crackers.

Some Heat: Basically less than a typical Jalapeno type M.

HOT

I know my scale isn't detailed, but it lets my friends and family have a better idea of what to expect.

Some of the varieties are my first attempt at learning about different paprika, chili powders, and most importantly - peppers/chilies that are from far away lands. I can't afford to travel the world, but a taste of it is as simple as growing it. It might not taste exactly the same, but close is better than not at all.

Yellowing leaves. I noticed these when tending to them this morning. It is watering day, so maybe that will help?

Don't take my word for it as I have no idea what your soil has in it but it looks to me like it could use some fertilizer.

If so at this stage I would give them half the recommended dose of what the package says as I know what you are using.

You should see results in about 3 days.

I found 9 plants with yellow leaves. It's on the lowest branch on each plant.

I know you can write stuff between the pictures. I'm guessing you do that in edit? or maybe in "go advanced"? Anyway, I fed them yesterday with MG plant food at half strength and can already see good results.

WARNING/SPOILER: The last picture is of Pinky Blast, I know it's new to most of us here on this side of the pond, so if you're waiting to see it from plants you grow yourself - you might want to avoid looking at the last picture.

Well, no, I haven't figured out how to write between the pics yet.

The first picture, it's difficult to read the ruler. 9 inches tall.

The second pic is Litchi. Those leaves look so different and will blend in well with our oak trees.

The third pic of Banana Legs: More of a question, I'm thinking that I probably should prune those lower yellow branches anyway? There is lots of upper growth that is healthy green.

Last pic, such tiny leaves! The only variety I'm growing to compare leaf size to is Spike.

Salt click on edit and then go advanced.
You will see the attachments there with brackets around them.

Go between each attachment and click until you see the cursor blinking(That line coming off and on).

Put the cursor after the attachment you want to type under and hit enter the thing will then go between the attachments.
You can then type what you want between the pictures or even move the picture around.
