Okay, Full Moon...it's now two minutes past midnight and I walked out on the porch and the handy man is gone. They got the door put in, but covered up the air conditioner hole, and still haven't got that right yet.

It's a strange thing. This new Vietnamese neighbor is the sweetest little bug. She brought me a whole cooked duck a few weeks ago, and invited me to her house for Chinese New Year (which, obviously Vietnames respect), so I went. I walked in to a house full of women, and said, "Well, here's the hen's party!" A church lady (very mild in my eyes to this point) then said, "Well every henhouse needs a rooster." And they all laughed. I blushed. No matter how proper, women will do what women do when they all get together. And so they did.

But you can't imagine all the fine food they had there. It was fabulous. When was that? January 9? It was about a week or so after our New Year.

So now, Tu, is adding on this new room where she can do her sewing. Maybe it's a bedroom. Who knows. Three years ago a friend gave me a pair of silk pajamas for Christmas that she made, but my ex-wife has them now. Oh...I forgot to mention...my ex-wife is also a next door neighbor. No kidding.

But Tu...such a sweet ole soul...fine cook and seamstress...industrious, but can't speak the King's English well, or drive a car. But she has a super cute friend from a neighboring town that came to the New Year's party. I'm going to check that out. Only three times in my life has a woman impressed me that much. No kidding.

I can't believe half this stuff myself when I read back over it, but it's true. Obviously you can tell the jokes from the truth, but most of what I say here is absolutely as it is. It's bizarre, and will keep you laughing. I've needed a lot of that lately.

Now...if I could just get that tomato bed right before Mr. Haney sells me something else.

Plus a whole lot more. You know, we are using MF's old thread like a piece of scrap paper
or a classroom note that gets passed around and everyone writes personal trivia on. Thanks for this
memo pad MF. We'll have to start using PM's again
Don. Let's test them....JJ61

Well, here's another neighbor update as this thread winds down. This was the strangest yet.

They are putting the siding on the addition now. So help me, the handyman was there with a floodlight till 3:30 am. It started drizzline rain about that time, so he finally left. It wasn't continuous hammering, but it was every year minutes, right out my bedroom and I didn't get a wink of sleep till around 4 am, a while after he left. I don't know how the Vietnames lady stood it with her house being hammered on till 3:30 in the morning. They've been working on that think for two months now. I hope they don't work at night tonight.

Thanks!

I photocopied the painting before I sent it. I was especially proud of that one.
