I too would like to know the ratio of worm castings to kelp extract and molasses per gallon or whatever. I have a brewer that makes a half gallon using the company's starter mix of only a few tablespoons in a half gallon of water. After 24 hours you add yucca liquid and enough water to make 5 gallons. I should be able to use this brewer to make the worm casting brew but need to know how much to add to a half gallon of water. Do you then dilute your final product?
Could I use granular kelp or should it be a liquid extract? I have Wiggle Worm worm castings that I get from the local hydroponics store and Blackstrap molasses so with the dry kelp am ready to go! Just need clarification on the details! |

Oh, the most important thing is to make sure your water doesn't have any chlorine or chloromine in it when you brew. The one of the points of the brew is to grow microbes and chlorine and chloromine will wipe them out. I don't think those chemicals will hurt the other synergistic stuff that happens with the humic and fulvic acids combined with seaweed. |

Thanks Hydro,
That helps and I have well water so no worries about chlorine! Now anxious to try this once the rain stops! You didn't say whether you use the brew diluted or straight from the brewer. I will only be making a half gallon at a time as I mentioned above but usually dilute it 9 to 1 when I make the mix that came with the brewer. |

The kelp I just roughly follow the instructions on the package or sometimes I just dump some in. |
