Thanks for the info but I must ask, did you receive them in good time? I have checked out their site and they have a lot of good deals. In checking reviews some complaints deal with the excessive rudeness of the staff and items not being delivered. Others have had excellent results. If anyone else has used this site please post your experiences as I see some things I could really use like the Coco coir. Thanks.

I placed my order on (December 6, 2016 12:45:29 PM PST), it was shipped on the 7th and delivered yesterday on the 14th, I went with the cheapest shipping. (Ground (2~5 Business Days) + Processing). It wasn't their fault it took UPS 7 days to deliver it but I'm sure the Christmas rush has something to do with UPS delays.

As for the staff, I called them before I ordered because the info didn't say it came with a power cord and I saw some that had a thermostat separately and I wanted to make sure it was a complete heat mat. The guy was courteous and answered all my questions.

Thanks Rajun. Glad to hear the order went so well. I will probably use them in the spring for some basics. Their shipping is quite high but I can see if you order in larger quantities it balances out better and the product remains a bargain.
Enjoy your mats. Where you are you can probably start seedlings. Here today we have 0 degree wind chill so starting seedlings seems a long way off!

Be sure and check the amount of heat you get if you plug those straight into a socket. I put mine straight in and it topped out at 115° F. I went and got a dimmer switch to run between the wall receptacle and the heat mat cord and was able to adjust the temperature down to where I wanted it.

I have several of them as I start a lot of flowers, too. I've found the temp. can vary
from mat to mat so I mark any that seem to run high. Once in a while, one stops working
so it's nice to have backups; at least at this price, that's possible!

I have a few Hydrofarm mats, which are similar if not identical except for the brand name. One runs lower, but that is still at least 70 degrees. The others will easily get to over 100 with a thin 99 cent plastic tray lid. I had to buy each tray an automatic thermometer to regulate the temperature of the tray so it doesn't fry the seedlings. You can buy a manual soil thermometer for under 10 dollars and check frequently but that is risky if you forget.

You can place something under the mat to regulate the heat too. Lisa did you buy EVERY mat a thermostat? Wow that would be a lot of money if they were small mats.

Also, some hydro stores will match low prices, so if there's a hydro store near you, you may be able to get a good price and save on shipping.
