Spiralizer
Does anyone have a spiralizer for making zucchini noodles that you would recommend? I'd consider stand-alone things or if there is a recommended attachment for a food processer (we have a Cuisinart) or attachment for a stand mixer.

I was trying to think of the contraption I had around the house to do this.
It is a part of my KitchenAid food processor. It doesn't make long ones but it works. Another Idea may be this one. http://us.microplane.com/microplanespiralcutter.aspx Not a fan of the KitchenAid stand mixer attachments dont have any but not a fan for some reason. For one they are pricey for what they do. |

We use the cheap ones shaped like an hour glass. They have a small row of cutting teeth and work just fine. Unless you're processing large amounts, I think this type would work for you. The brand is Veggetti.

Thanks everyone! Looking at things I think we're leaning toward the Spiralizer one, the couple different blades would be nice. Doing zucchini spaghetti with some of our zucchini would be a good way to eat more vegetables!

I have a slightly different one that EPawlick recommended, the https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It has 3 blades instead of 5. Seems like I always use the same blade anyway. It's great to cut down on processed carbs, though, there are a lot of pieces to it that need cleaning after use. Have you seen this site? Ali has some really great recipes. |
