4 AWESOME Hearts for 7 gallon containers

Hi all ,

I can "Heart" aly recomend with no hesitations these Hearts
varieties grown out for 2017 :

All where ...Early , High Yield , container friendly (for 7 gallon).

1) EM Champion

2) Velmozha

3) Zlotoe Sertdse

4) Dwarf Pink Passion


These are great Toms !



If anyone has tried others varieties of hearts like these

That are Early , High yield and container friendly ....

I would always like to find out about them .

I grew Kardinal in a 5 gallon pot this year. It did pretty well but EM Champion was the best I thought.

The above 4 mentioned will be hard to match or beat ....

When Filtered for EARLY , High Yield , Container friendly etc.

I will stay on course and try for 2018 : Danko and Dwarf Lemon Ice as well .


But still It is hard to imagine many other hearts being as fine.

I see Tatiana's had seeds available in 2016 ..

Container friendly in your experience ?

Yes, with only one qualifier, it likes to put out suckers like crazy, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on your needs. Medium large to large fruit. I'd send you seeds but I'm on a self imposed TSWV quarantine.

I have actually eliminated the future for varieties to try for 2018 ..

I still inquire ...but really I have next year varieties ..figured out ...

I am back to needing to annex the next door lot.....LOL

Another one to consider is Podarok Fe ( gift of the Fairy),also det and a very small orange heart. I sent seeds of it to someone I think maybe 2 years ago who wanted to use it to create an orange multiflora.

I think Podarok Fei was offered by Victory seeds before ...

maybe still does if one asks nicely ? Sounds most interesting to try .

It didn't make it to fruit production that year, but it tried hard, so I bought some seed from Victory and it's grown here (in the ground) and done well. When happy, it produced fruit a little larger than Zolotoe Serdtse, though as per Victory's listing, there was a size range. Both those, when happy, were earlyish and abundant producers, here, though.

Hey thanks for the direct link and corrected spelling etc.

I did follow it and checked it out ..it is good to know they(Victory) still sell the seeds..

BUT for me Victory describes this one as 95 days .....

which is a stretch and a bit to much of a risk in my climate .
.....I am so Happy this year
with the Zolotoe Serdtse and the Heavy Yield ...Victory seeds lists that one as 75 days .

Yes, I did have it in a seed offer quite a few years ago, my seeds I think from Andrey in Belarus.

When I first listed it in that offer I think I may have used 3 O's but it was Tania who corrected me,and I made that correction on the first page of the offer and asked all to change it to

Not much info in the above link and no time to go back and look at the list of varieties that Andrey usually sends me each year.

no all at same time ......early but spread out harvest ...all still have small new fruit growing as well ...really quite marvelous ...all 4 ...Try one of them ..SAM I AM !
