Default Going Bananas!

So what do I do with all these?

Green Sausage, Banana Legs & LGS. Ate many. Lots more coming the next few days!

With those three varieties in particular, I think of three things!

1. Salsa
2. Sauce
3. Canning them for use in winter soups and stews!

And also:
fried green/yellow tomatoes
grilled or added to brochettes/kebabs
juiced?

I think yellow sauce would be neat, or salsa. I have a son who will only eat yellow/orange cherry tomatoes. I've tried to tell him that yellow tomatoes and red/pink ones taste pretty similar, but he won't eat any of the other ones. I planted yellow bell, Azoychka, and Kellog's Breakfast along with Galinas to see if he'll eat spaghetti if I make it with yellow sauce. The Harvest forum at Gardenweb has a lot of good recipes, maybe you could look around over there, or ask for suggestions.

They look like my Lime Green Salad. Key test - if they are from a dwarf plant (since the only green dwarf....at least yet...is Lime Green Salad).

Depends upon how long you let them sit before you pick them. They tend to go really fast (overripe) when deep amber, for me.

Actually the LGSs are closer to korney19's color. Poor lighting made everything look greenish. No question that they are LGSs. Very compact plant. Extraordinery productivity.

Went to the market and got some garlic, onions, seasoning, ground beef and made myself a whole lot of yellow meat sauce on spaghetti.

Not bad at all!

Tomorrow LGS sorbet!
