Default Stupice first blush

Noticed two fruit blushing this morning. This turned out to be an experiment for fruitset in the heat after a seed mix up. The plant isnt loaded with fruit but looks to have 25 or 30 on it at this point. Looking forward to tasting it as it has been awhile since Ive tasted a homegrown mater. 62 days from TP as of today

Must be a very versitile variety. It is my best one here with hot, humid, cool nights and dry weather.

Taste isn't too bad either.

with the temps we have been having, I am surprised that it has fruit at all. I grew it once before but didnt really get to eat much fruit from it, as it was a stinkbug magnet. Looking forward to tasting it.

Have you got any yet? Mine are good, but not great. Delicious enough until the big ones started

Your previous Stupice was a Stink Bug magnet. My Silvery Fir Tree was a Slug magnet. Slugs got them all, even the geen ones. Plant is over already and I had none :-(

I have eaten two already and they were ok, not great, just as you mentioned. But, the positive is that they are home grown and still better than what the stores are offering right now.

I wasn't overly thrilled with stupice, however they were my first to ripen and anything home grown was better than store bought.
