Tomato seedling happy dance

Just leaving this here... with thanks to the many members of the Tomatoville community who have shared their ideas, experiences, and seeds with me. The first "real" tomato seedlings of the year (not just the micro-dwarfs, dwarfs, and container types) are popping up all over my heat mat. Woohoo! Cheers!!!

OP what did you decide on Brandy Boy? I remember you called Burpee and they said it was a "stable hybrid".

Did you grow F3, F4, F5?

It turned out that I didn't like the flavor of Brandywine or Brandy Boy, so I didn't pursue it. But yes, I did speak with Burpee's customer service rep last year and was told that both Brandy Boy and another Burpee variety called Black Truffle Hybrid, are "stable hybrids." In response to my question about whether saved seeds from bagged blossoms will grow true for "stable hybrids," their rep said yes.

Glad other Tomatovillians have enjoyed my silliness!

I saved seeds from my Brandy Boy last year and I am growing the F2. So far so good. It has PL top.
