Tito & Hélio exercise at night around a triangular plot of nearly 500 m2. They go around the block on special occasions and when they decide to abscond for hours-days.

My boy greets them as "mis chiquitos" and handles them well. On occasion he raises the flag and I encourage him to take charge before intervening. The pooches are strong.

Dog mcnuggets aka Heces aka SSS are usually picked up by the soles of my shoes.

I really like this one. Compact plant, PL, very productive, susceptible to TSWV and foliar challenges, nonetheless, its productivity more than makes up for it.

Sweet flavor profile, heirloom qualities to its taste, minimal bite yet not bland at all. Similar to Koroleva.

There's a fair amount of variability in the F3s, very good flavor on this one, reflecting both parents. Nice acidity.

I have it from Paco as Negro de Olmeda and I think this link explains that it was the one that led to to Kumato, etc.

The one I have is labeled "Tradicional Olmeda de las Fuentes" no info other than that. I'll let it mature a few days, slice away and be able to describe it better.

I'm not sure about Negro de las Fuentes, can you point it out to me? A typo perhaps.

No,not a typo,my mistake.

I rechecked Paco's spelling as well, still my mistake.

You know how much I like Spanish varieties, always looking for new ones, you get them,I think from Baikal but I think he lives on Mallorca, Nicolas used to speak for him but now Nicolas is a tville member and will transmit messages to Baikal.

I was getting mine from Paco, and am getting worried since I owe him $$$ for some soft turron he sent to his relative in the US just before this past Easter and she sent it to me.

I emed him twice asking how much I owe him and no response. And someone I know who has been getting some from Paco as well, from his SSE Annual Yearbook listings,but no listings for 2018 at all. And that's why I'm worried. Last I saw him post here was last Spring where he had a very long list of new ones he was going to grow out last summer.

Carolyn, back to looking out the windows in front of her only to find that the large, what I thought was a doe, has grown two of them,and lest you think I'm referring to something else,I mean ANTLERS. Very seldom do bucks(deer) come down to my backyard.

Potting mix in prep mode for next wave of transplants, mostly Bella Rossa, Skyway, Dixie Red, Gribovsky and Mikhalych.
Have a pair I'm curious to see fruit on: 0-33 and EM Champion.

The 100 gal pot with extras and volunteers is producing well. Volunteers popping up from the concrete blocks are placed there or in a pair of 25 gals in a kiddie pool.

Peppers are doing really well and are loaded.

Cucumbers are growing strong.

Hi, Gerardo. I am growing Monika as you recommended last year. The plant is not as big as other cucumbers I am growing, but it has many small cuces already. Was yours big plants? I did not order Sweet Success, I have similar variety that is long Japanese. We prefer small pickling varieties to eat. Have not tasted Monika yet, probably in a week.
Interesting cross you have with Elgin Pink. EP is one of my must have tomato. Looking forward to what you will develop. Good luck, my friend.

I'm so very pleased to share with you that there are 10,just 10 BONNIE plants growing in containers in the backyard here. Never did I think I'd be paying $4.00 EACH for a plant. But stuff happens.Actually I bought 14 plants but gave 4 to my local USPS deliverer since Dave is my backup man and of course I gave him those gratis,but he bought 10 more for himself. I had no real choice in the varieties I bought since each place selling Bonnie plants makes their own selections.

Not much info on the tags so I had to Google Bonnie plants to get more info.

What this means is that one plant out there is Cherokee Purple.Like I don't already know that variety.

I can tell you this. The first two almost ripe fruits were brought in to me,voila, 2 Tami G F1 hybrid fruits, grape tomatoes.

Carolyn, who has seen no deer in the backyard in 2 days, antlered or otherwise,but Rocky Raccoon and now his wife,I'm calling her Rachel, 3 woodchucks, lots of birds flying by to get seeds from the suet cakes, etc. No more hummers at the feeder since now that the roses, etc, are blossoming,they go straight for the nectar, not liquid sugary stuff.

I remember Monica had relatively small leaves, and a cuke at every node. If you like em small for pickling this is definitely the right variety.
