I just got a lovely pile of seeds from the Secret Santa swap. I can't possibly go for more. The Secret Santa was a blast, though. It was fun to package up the seeds for others and fun to receive the Christmas cards with seeds in them. I highly recommend the swaps to anyone who is considering it.

Yes, but still, I don't need to start stuff till mid-March or April... you think it's gonna be touch & go?

The Captain is in sort of meltdown mode. Ran out of zip baggies, so did WalMart. A few of the big packages will be delayed a bit more, and I'll likely fold paper and tape a few seed packets for the rest.

Meanwhile, a very minor burn again.

I hear AC Moore is closing down. Ill have to check Michael's and the other Walmart stores. In a typical MMMM year, I buy out all of the 2x3 baggies in 4 WalMart stores in my area.

WalMart, to me, is like a safari adventure. Though I don't go there too often, and if I need only a few small items, I still like to walk the entire store just to look around. Online doesn't do it, for me.

One year I had trouble finding the baggies at all the Walmart stores near me because they were held up at customs. Some sort of backlog always happens around the holidays.

In anticipation of mmmm I bought a small backup box of coin envelopes from Amazon at a substantial discount. I didn't sign up for any swaps elsewhere, so whatever baggies I find at Walmart will be jettisoned over to my favorite enabler. That is, unless they are sitting in customs…
