Default Cruising 2

The first 2 pictures is what I woke up to this morning. A sure end to the season. It turned out to be a beautiful day so the wife and I took a drive around the local area and here are a few pics. The last pic is our dogs awaiting our arrival. Ami

Brad, my grandmother lived in Healdsburg on the Russian river for about ten years. I always preferred northern Cal to southern where I grew up. Ami

dcarch, it says USA because that is where I bought it from. When I bought the house I wanted a mailbox I could mount on a pole and the replicas the germans sell of what I have now just don't get it in quality. So I ordered this one with the cedar wood cover from the states. You would be suprised how many germans have these american replicas. Mine, its the real deal. And when the german postman/woman delivers mail they even raise the red flag telling me theres mail! Ami

That is funny Ami! We buy German stuff as we think they have good stuff! When you PUT stuff in the mailbox to pick up we raise the flag, when they pick it up they lower it. They do not raise it for mail.

dcarch, the ones the germans sell in their fix-it stores are made in China! A german made mailbox made out of stainless steel starts at $200.00. My US postal approved mailbox will do nicely thank you. Ami

tessa, you are correct. Its about an hour's drive from where I live. My daughter went to the University of Landau which is next to Karlsruhe. Ami
