Good Morning from Germany
It's 0800 central european time 04 May 08. And the reason is, today is tomato seedling plantout. Temperatures expected to reach 80 deg F. Ami

Congratulations, Ami!
It is my first tomato seedlings transpanting day as well. At least for a big greenhouse! We are having 3 days-off here and everybody around will be planting tomatoes, potatoes and some other veggies. Good luck, Germany!

Guten Morgen! Sounds like a great plan for the day - think I'll do some transplanting as well!

Good morning from Germany
Was??? Und wo ist der Edelweiss? (You'll have to forgive my poor German. It's the first time I've used it since the 80's. In the meantime I've learned a little spanish so I'm very rusty on my German!)
I still miss southern Germany. I loved driving through those small towns and seeing how beautiful the houses & buildings were. And how most everyone took care of their property & lawns. The food & people there and in Austria were absolutely wonderful as well. The mountains & countryside were picture postcard quality. How blessed I was to spend 3 short years there while in the military. Awesome! Enjoy your gardening season Ami... Jeff |

Yep, I enjoyed my three year visit (I was stationed in Pirmasens) so much that my daughter was born in Landstuhl.... 32 years ago and seems like only yesterday.... Definitely a beautiful country and wonderful people....

OGNeck, Pirmasens has been shut down for the most part. The Med storage depot is about all that's left. I work about 2k from LARMC. They have/had a webcam at the base in Pirmasens. If it's still active I'll PM you the URL for it. Ami
