From my local paper...what do you all know or think?

Lebanon-based Lebanon Seaboard Corp. is debuting a new organic weed preventer that's safe for use in vegetable gardens. It's 100% corn gluten - a byproduct of corn processing.

Corn gluten has been around for several years, but this is the first use of it under Lebanon Seaboard's popular Preen brand of weed preventers.

Just sprinkle the granular Preen Vegetable Organic Weed Preventer on the soil surface, water in, and it stops most weed seeds from germinating.

You can use it immediately in beds with transplants....

Since it is a corn byproduct, it is safe for use around children, pets, and wildlife.
