Okay, version 3:
Eros is a red cultivar from East Germany, introduced to the US by Milan Sodomka (who also introduced Stupice and a few other fine Czech varieties to US growers). Zlatovlaska is an orange cultivar introduced by a Russian cultivar vendor. Extra Eros Zlatovlaska is a yellow to orangy red cultivar (reports vary) of unknown origin. I do not think we should discount the Abundant Life catalog's report of Eros as an originally East German cultivar without evidence to the contrary. Here is a page where Forest Shorner of Abundant Life transcribes Sodomka's original letter that accompanied the seeds: http://www.seattlepi.com/nwgardens/247682_smith10.html Note that a TOMATObase contributor has actually grown out Extra Eros Zlatovlaska: http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/E...os_Zlatovlaska (Shorner's transcription of the letter spells Milan's last name as "Sodomka", while Abundant Life's own website spells it as "Sodomko" in their listing for seeds of Stupice, so it is anyone's guess about that.)
