Default Decorative Container

Hi folks,

Just thought I'd share my decorative container. This is a gift for my brother and his wife who live in a condo in Santa Barbara and don't have much space. I'm hoping the decorative nature will allow them to put it out front. The design utilizes a lot of ideas garnered from this forum and GW. Thanks to everyone.

The pot is fiberglass from HomeDepot. Probably not my first choice of design, but I wanted a sealed bottom. I will be attaching one of those green plastic tomato cages to the threaded rods. The type of cage that clips together. This should allow easy transport of the plant the next time we visit while still providing solid support.

Oh, the tomato? Sungold

Oh, the dog? That's Lola. She prefers peppers to tomatoes, but will gobble tomatoes if given a chance. You know Labs, 80% of the world is food, the other 20%, edible.
