Tomatoes going in the ground.
Well at long last I will be planting some maters in the garden starting Saturday. Abe Lincoln will be the first this year. Some seedlings are really surprising me with their growth rate. And these where my last minuet seed sowing too and last potted up! Only potted up about 2 weeks ago where Black Krim,Black from Tula,Paul Robeson and Mariana's Peace. These plants are ready to go! Berkly Tye Dye and Earl's Faux have taken a big growth spurt and are sure to be right behind the others. So for the next week or so I will be planting a bunch of good maters.
On another subject my peppers are doing pretty decent too. The ones that are outpacing all others are my Chocolate Habaneros . They are getting their second set of true leaves and should be ready very soon. Bells should be ready soon too. Very busy weekend coming up. Oh and the pest patrol in the form of our local American Toad population are ready and waiting as they where last year. I am sure we shall have the rest of the amphibian population will be around as soon as everything starts bushing out. Who's worried about bugs? Kevin |
