Florida Pink
I rarely hear about "Florida Pink" here so I thought I'd post some pictures and give a sampling of what they look like. I'm surprised anything would produce through this heat wave with temps consistently 100 and above, but they did, and some have been right up there around 2 pounds.
They aren't really tart and tangy like I prefer, but they aren't mild, bland, or sweet either. Sort of in between and average for taste. I enjoyed growing them and would recommend them for the Deep South if you want to grow big tomatoes that can stand the heat. On the whole, I give "Florida Pink" an A for "fun large size to grow" and a C on taste. Thanks to Feldon Central for hosting these photos.
