The EarthTainer "Farm" Fruitset - April 18 Update (pics)
In spite of the cooler and wetter than normal Spring, things are now progressing nicely. Goose Creek is flowering and adding about half an inch a day in growth:
Same thing with N.A.R.X. on the left, and Soren's Marianna's Peace X Neves Azorean Red on the right: Black & Brown Boar is really green and thick stemmed: And its "cousin" Pink Boar has begun to set fruit: Last Season I planted 6 Pepper plants per 'Tainer which turned out to be too crowded. So this year, I am putting only 4 plants in each: The Snow Peas have about peaked: And I am getting a pretty good yield: The carrots I threw in last November have survived the Winter, and are now perking up: So hopefully, we will be spared the Psyllids, Tomato Russet Mites, and White Flies this Season. If not, I am well prepared with Take Down Garden Spray this time. Raybo |
