piegirl Tomatovillian™ Honoree Join Date: May 2006 Location: Lincoln, NE Posts: 791	kicking and screaming!!! I was soooo mad yesterday - went to pick my first (ever) strawberries - 3 were ripe at 3 pm and at 4 pm they were GONE! Squirrels or birds but I just wanted to come in the house and throw myself on the floor in a kicking screaming fit. So today they are covered with wire screen. Deep breath, piegirl - there will possibly be more tomorrow. That's like stealing someone's first tomato of the season! Piegirl
