Default Newbie BER question with pictures

When I see this (see the picture below) is there any hope that it will turn into a nice tomato, or should I just pluck the poor guy and toss him in the compost bin?

I'm a little sad because about 5 or 6 of the toms on this plant looked like this when I came out this evening.
