Seed fermenting and plant diseases
Since I seem to have a wilt disease of some sort in my garden now, I was wondering if I should try to save seeds at all. If I'm not mistaken, fermenting is not a 100% guarantee that all microbes are killed. I'm more concerned about trading than my own garden. I know my garden is now infested, but I'd really hate to spread the problem to someone else. A lot of kind people have offered seed trades of one kind or another. I wouldn't want to repay their kindness by sending them diseased seeds. Should I save seeds from diseased plants? Is that a really bad idea?
