Moravsky Div Comes in First
Moravsky Div beat Kimberley by two days in my yearly first tomato contest. Both were planted Feb 25 and the first Moravsky Div was picked April 12. The first Kimberley was picked today, April 14. 48 days is pretty good for me. And I have others ripening on that plant.
Kimberley usually is the winner but last year Sungold was first. On a side note Blush would have been close but it succumbed to bacteria wilt (I think). Taxi is coming on strong as is Snow White. Can't wait for the Big Fellas like Brandy Boy, Earl's Faux, Orange Minsk, Bush Big Boy, and of course the Dwarves. In addition to Blush, I have lost Grub's Mystery Green, Dwarf Wild Fred and Anais Noire to one disease or another. But I still have 45 plants blooming and setting fruit. Hope the temps stay in the good range under 90 for another month or so. MikeInCypress.
