reputable/reccommended vendors??
being new to the site I don't know if this a permitted question. if not i'm sure it will be deleted. so.......there is no shortage of seed/supply companies. but I am getting less and less satisfied w/their service. from a "product specialist" at XYZ company that didn't know the diff. between potting soil and transplanting outdoors to being shorted an item and leaving a message that promised to "get right back to ya because we care" that still went unreturned 48 hours later, after leaving 2 messages. besides, i'd much rather deal w/a reputable mom and pop operation that NEEDS the business and appreciates it. at present I am looking for 50% shade material 30' long to shade my peppers in a coupla months. last year I shaded an eggplant and it produced a ton of fruit compared to the unshaded one. these south texas summers are brutal! I used a piece of cardboard. sorry for writing a book, but I have a feeling you DIY selfers know who to buy from. thanks!
