Thanks for the info Suze, I completly forgot about cats I once had a very difficult situation with a dog and bone meal in my greenhouse.

I had just spent half an hour putting granulated bone meal into my greenhouse border soil, and came out and left the door partialy ajar.

My dog soon got a whiff of it, and whilst I was inside the house-the blighter got in through the greenhouse door and I caught him digging big holes all over the place.

He was a real character was that dog,- he once got all covered in cow manure by rolling in it in a field next to the house where we lived at that time he lept the fence and came back- my wife grabbed him and gave him an outside bath and shampoo straight away-and scolded him not to do it again, his ears went down and he looked sorry for himself,so she let him go again. he went straight and jumped over the fence again and rolled all in the cow manure- jumped the fence again-quickly dodged the wife who was franticly trying to catch him, went straight into the house and jumped on the sofa and lay down- talk about a minger "phew"
