Default whats going on with juane flammee

at i dig my garden we were discussing it and i realized my (j.f.) are elongated and so we presumed that maybe it was a seed mix up.so i was reading the(our legacy of yester year varieties)off the main page and looked up jaune flammee and 3 or 4 people reported plum or elongated fruit.one person said in his green house they are oval and out side they are round.so maybe depending on the climate or soil somthing you might get round or elongated fruit.but just to be shure if anyone has jaune flammee seeds and they are for shure round i would love to give them another try as a experiment.somthing weird is going on.myconcern is i have a cross with jaune flammee and they are plum shape and if i send out seeds and they expect plum shape and it does the same thing as jf you might get round or oval and cause all kinds of problems
