TWO Tri-cots!! Same cell....
Same variety, same year. I don't know how rare it is but it's pretty cool!!
Funny story about the seed. I visited my mother on Long Island about 6 yrs ago or so and she had a large Shannon's about 15 ounces if I remember correctly. That's big for her so I asked her to mail it to me when it was close to being ripe. Yes, I actually asked her too and she did!! lol We tomato people will go through a lot to get things done!! I saved seed from it, and put them in a camera film type case that I think had some silica gel type stuff in the cap for moisture. Found them buried in a box and planted about 10-15 of them a week and a half ago. One popped up quickly. the others seem to come every third day for some reason. Another popped out today too. Just think it's cool to have TWO side by side in the same cell. Greg |
