I grew it for several years and thought it was the most productive as far as numbers of any of the hearts I have ever grown. The biggest factor in size was limiting the number of stems as Anna Russian will send out a massive amount of suckers and forks resulting in tiny fruit not much over a few ounces. Early on in the season when the plant was young and kept to a few stems I would get plenty of fruits in the one pound range but most were smaller. I even had one or two reach the pound and a half stage; but as the heat would get up I would allow far more stems to develop for shade and the result would be far smaller fruit.
