encore Tomatovillian™ Join Date: May 2015 Location: wisconsin Posts: 536	hot pepper seeds was thinking of starting my hot pepper seeds a couple of weeks earlier than the sweet type, because they seem to germinate that much slower, which would be today, only problem is I'm going out of town on the 20th for 10 days, you think they would be alright for 10 days? if I plant them today with heat mats and then turn heat mats off and water them on the 19th, or will they not like the cold of the basement? any thoughts?---tom
