Default Barese cucumber melon

Tried my first Carosello Barese cucumber (melon). The hair was easy to rub off dry. Then I washed it, cut it into slices and removed the seed cavity. Took a few bites and it is crunchy but it didn't have much flavor. I can see how it would be a good green crunch in a salad but it would be mostly something green to put the dressing on.
