Default Question about Tomatoes

Hi everyone,

I saw an article about growing tomatoes and in it, the person claims that they place 2 or 3 Tums in the soil when they plant , and that the tomato plant LOVES the calcium given off from the Tums.
Has anyone ever heard of this before?
I would like to try it, but wanted some feedback first.

Its like placing 2 or 3 matches in with peppers for the sulphur right, might try that one too this year.

Thanks for your input everyone.
