If you are growing the same varieties in each of the sections, that will allow you to compare how they do as to yield, tomato size, disease resistance, etc. based on the different pruning. I'm assuming you will have the plants further apart the less pruned they are, right?

If you are planting different tomatoes in each section, as in one plant of each variety, you might want to research and see which plants do better pruned vs. unpruned before you decide which section to plant them in.
