Fungal Disease
Yesterday, the produce manager at Food City said that his suppliers had stopped shipping all lettuce/greens/cabbage products due to a "fungal disease". He did not know what specific disease, but was visually agitated by the fact he could not supply his customers and his shelves were looking pretty bad.
He told us about the fungal disease when we asked if he stocked Arugula, which he DID NOT have (because of the fungal disease). Anybody else heard anything on this??? Or did we get a line of extreme BS to hide his incompetence??? I started some Ferry Morse seeds for Arugula and those babies have literally JUMPED out of the mix. Ted
