I Lied!!!
For those of you that care to read my obnoxious blither, a while back I said I was too busy to grow tomatoes this year.
My wife said she didn't want to bother with them. I said I didn't have any room for them because I was going to retire the garden spot. WELL after hauling 1 truck load of steel and pipe another truck load of old lumber fence and posts I tore down and 2 truck loads of fire wood from my close back yard. Not to mention ather odds and ends. All of this went to a burn pile or another site at the far back of my place. My wife came home with some tomato plants 8 Marglobe tomatoes and 2 patio plants. She said she would do all of the work. I did all of the work. I planted them with old sheets of plywood with holes cut into the wood for the tomatoes to grow out of. NO WEEDS But the yard reclamation is going great I now have about 100 feet farther back of new yard to sit in which will plant buffalo grass in the next time I come home. I had to shut down my wife's tomato buying because I told her it was better to grow a few plants she can take care of. As opposed to having too many to take care of then they become neglected. I worked my tail off this time home and you can tell. Worth |
