Default The coolest thing about chard

I transplanted my Bright Lights Swiss Chard yesterday (yes way late, ah well). So it was rootbound, and I could see all the roots winding around the outside.

And... whatever color the stem of the chard was, so were the roots. Hot pink chard - hot pink roots!

I have never seen such cool roots.

OK, now that I think about it, carrot roots are orange, etc. But I still found it so cool.
