First planting was on May 8; replanted a few lost to wind on May 18; today replanted the five lost to hail on the 21st. Today, May 26, is the latest I have ever put tomatoes in the ground. In order to replant the varieties I lost to the hail I had to drive 30 miles and buy back four plants from a nursery I supply with my OPs. The owner wanted to give them to me, but it was my own dang fault for not protecting my own well enough, so I paid. No hail or wind in the next week or so. I hope they take.
