Default 1st 2011 Toms at Muddy Bucket Farm

Woke up this morning to thunderstorms and lots of rain. I knew I had a couple of tomatoes breaking color, and with the hot and dry followed by the cool and wet, I decided to pull them before they could swell up and burst. Two of the three are typically small for early fruit sets.

Both the Better Boy and the "Cuor di Bui" plants were purchased as mature plants. I do this every year to help with the "Early" thing. Anyhow, we'll let them finish out on the counter.
