Mealy tomatoes, good for sauce?

I think that I overwatered some of my container tomatoes. I'm really upset about this, as the texture of the tomatoes is quite mealy and mushy.

However, can I salvage these tomatoes by making sauce with them? I'm thinking that the texture won't show itself in a sauce as it does when eating them fresh.
